Nathan GeeseyNathan Geesey formed VeraTeq, LLC in 2006 with the aim of perfecting a solution to the Phantom Traffic problem that had been plaguing the telecom industry for several years. Drawing from his twenty-five years of telecom experience in network operations, billing, and system development, Nathan created the SkyView Revenue Assurance System. SkyView has been used by Local Exchange Companies, CLECs, and Wireless Carriers to validate their billing process, reconcile SS7 and Billing Call Detail Records, identity phantom traffic, calculate reciprocal compensation ratios, and provide a data warehouse for SS7 and Billing records.

Prior to VeraTeq, Nathan was the Director of Business Development for the Engel Consulting Group where he led the development of the Sentinel Integrity System, one of the first SS7 Call Detail systems used in the fight against phantom traffic. While with Engel, his team was successful in winning several disputes with Inter-Exchange Carriers on behalf of Engel’s clients.

Previous to Engel, Nathan worked for both Lucent Technologies and AT&T. Key among his accomplishments with these two companies were the design and deployment of the Provisioning Inventory Billing System (PIBS), a lease management and bill payment system; designing the data network for AT&T’s first signature building; and leading the network migration team for AT&T Headquarters and Bell Labs that replaced a hodgepodge of incompatible computer and communications systems with the IP based Unified Global Network.

Much of Nathan’s leadership skills were developed in Marine Corps Reserve where he served as an Officer for 20 years. During his time in Marine Corps, Nathan was the commanding officer of Headquarters Company 24th Marine Regiment; 24th Marine Regiment S1; and a member of the Marine Corps Mobilization Command Center. While serving with the Mobilization Center, he developed a computer based communication system to manage the mobilization of the Marine Corps’ Individual Ready Reservists. This was the first major improvement to the mobilization process since the Korean Conflict and was used by the Marine Corp for the call up of individuals to active duty in 1990 for Operation Desert Storm.

Nathan also excelled in sales and marketing positions with Memorex Telex and StorageTek and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Grand Canyon University.
